This wine comes from a privileged 2.5-acre vineyard perched on the edge of the city of Saint-Emilion next to cru classe Clos Fourtet. It is beautifully perfumed, rich, opulent almost, but still with a strong sense of structure and dark, dry fruits. The texture is dense, packed with dusty tannins and black currant jelly flavors.
