This 100% new oak-aged cuvee had just finished its malolactic fermentation when I tasted it. A blend of 85% Merlot (from 70-year old vines) and 15% Cabernet Franc, it exhibits aromas of white chocolate, espresso roast, sweet blueberry and raspberry fruit, an enticing texture, moderate tannin, and a long finish. Consume it during its first 12-16 years of life.
