From 25 ares in a lieu-dit that was formerly part of 1er Cru Les Folatières, the 2015 Puligny-Montrachet En La Richarde is captivating, bursting from the glass with an expressive bouquet of fresh peach, citrus oil, dried flowers and blanched almonds. On the palate, it's full-bodied, satiny and textural, even voluptuous, with extraordinary depth and persistence. It's an extraordinary wine that's more gourmand and expansive than d'Auvennay's Folatières, but not as tensile and chalky.
