The 2015 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru La Boudriotte has a subtle bouquet with touches of orange rind and fine pine, yellow plum developing with time in the glass. The palate is well balanced with a waxy texture, nicely weighted in the mouth with a lightly spice finish that just needs a little more nervosité to come through. Not quite the spellbinding wine like the 2014, however, it will offer plenty of drinking pleasure.
