The excellent 2013 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru la Boudriotte has a more austere, mineral-driven bouquet compared to the domaine's other Chassagne premier crus, a bouquet that is very precise; dandelion and burdock scents emerging with time. The palate is very well balanced with crisp acidity, lovely salinity and a precise finish that is totally convincing. This represents one of the domaine’s best in 2013 – a Chassagne from the top drawer.
