The 2013 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru les Embazees has a clean, resinous bouquet that needs to find a little more delineation by the time of bottling. The palate has a bitter lemon note on the entry, but there is decent weight here, if not the complexity and sophistication of its fellow premier cru Chassagnes at this early stage.
