The beautiful 2010 Chardonnay Dutton Ranch is young, the first vintage where Patz & Hall began using their embossed/engraved bottle for their wines. Terrific notes of honeysuckle, orange blossom, tangerine oil and pear jump from the glass of this elegant, crisp, full-bodied wine with dazzling fruit purity, full-bodied texture and a long finish. This should drink nicely for another 5-7 years.

This is very rich, with flashy oak that gives it a powerful buttered-toast flavor. Underneath the oak are notes of mango, lime and green apple, brightened by crisp acidity. — (12/1/2012) —87
