The brilliant 2002 Chardonnay Dutton Ranch was unbelievably fresh and vibrant with loads of poached pear, honeysuckle, white peach and tropical notes. With a full body, great fruit and good acidity, this wine easily tasted like a four- or five-year-old wine, rather than one that is 14 years of age.

The 2002 Chardonnay Dutton Ranch is tight-structured, but full, powerful, and rich with noticeable underlying acidity. It plays it close to the vest on the palate, but has considerable weight, richness, and leesy, buttery fruit. It should drink well for 3-4 years, possibly longer (Release date Spring 04)Tel.
