The 2020 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru La Chatenière is especially good this year. Revealing scents of citrus oil, pear, confit lemon, beeswax, freshly baked bread and smoke, it's medium to full-bodied, chiseled and concentrated, with a satiny attack and a long, mineral finish.

Opening in the glass with scents of pear, fresh peach, orange oil and pastry cream, the 2019 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru La Chatenière is medium to full-bodied, chiseled and concentrated, with an elegantly textural attack, a layered core and fine length and grip on the finish.

Aromas of pear, orange oil, blanched almonds, white flowers and green apple introduce the 2018 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru La Chatenière, a medium to full-bodied, layered and incisive wine that's deep and chalky, with lively acids and fine length on the finish. This confirms its fine showing before bottling last year.

The 2017 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru La Chatenière is showing beautifully, surpassing its performance from barrel. Unwinding in the glass with scents of white flowers, crisp green apple and oyster shell, it's medium to full-bodied, chalky and nicely concentrated, with lively acids and a long, saline finish.
