The 2013 Pinot Noir Hyde Vineyard (15% whole-clusters and 14.2% alcohol) showed beautiful strawberry and wild mountain berry notes, a hint of cola, underbrush and foresty notes. This is a focused, laser-like style of wine with medium to full-bodied smoky berriness and zesty acidity. This wine seems less plush than its predecessors, but more tart and elegant. It can actually benefit from a few years of bottle age and should keep for at least 10-15 years.
