The 2013 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Boudriotte has more mineralité and delineation than the Morgeot '13 on the nose at the moment – the terroir coming through nice ‘n' strong here. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity with nice build in the mouth, but it seems to taper dramatically on the finish, leaving you wanting more. Great start, but it dips before the finish line. Let’s see how this is in bottle.
