The 1995 Chardonnays, which are largely sold out, include the 1995 Chardonnay Mays Canyon, a deep, rich, honeysuckle-scented, flavorful wine with a wonderful texture and length. The wine is full-bodied, with a more obvious California personality than the Chardonnay Occidental. It possesses tangy underlying acidity, as well as the hallmarks of all the Littorai wines - purity, equilibrium, and subtlety. This small artisanal producer has moved to a barn/winery high on Howell Mountain, adjacent to the Black Sears Vineyard.
