The 2013 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Caillerets has a delicately perfumed bouquet with hints of white chocolate and brioche infusing the citrus fruit. The palate is crisp and taut, quite linear and conservative, perhaps without the elegance or nuance of the Blanchots at this stage, but certainly with satisfactory length. Give it a year or two in bottle.
