The 2012 Chassagne-Montrachet la Grand Montagne 1er Cru, which Mounir told me underwent one of the slowest malos (which must mean millennia since it is Lucien le Moine!) has a very precise, mineral-driven bouquet with hints of limestone coming through with aeration. The palate is effervescent on the entry with a keen thread of orange peel and tangerine, lovely build in the mouth towards a vibrant finish.
