This is a 60-40 blend of Carricante and Catarratto executed in a fresh and snappy style. The 2018 Etna Bianco Le Sabbie dell'Etna offers soft and plush aromas with white flower and honeysuckle at the front. It offers a good amount of volume and texture for an easy-drinking white wine from Etna. The wine's extra fiber would stand up to a plate of pasta with fragrant pesto made with baby basil leaves. Some 25,000 bottles were made.

A blend of Carricante and Catarratto, the 2017 Etna Bianco Le Sabbie dell'Etna has a strange soapiness to the bouquet with lavender suds and peach perfume. The floral intensity is extra perfumed. However, this hot-vintage wine also offers a salty or savory side with wild sage and crushed flint. The whole ensemble is a bit offbeat. Some 25,000 bottles were produced.

The 2015 Etna Bianco Le Sabbie dell'Etna represents a very nice blend of Carricante and Catarratto. This is a classic white wine from volcanic soils. The wine is linear and sharp with bright citrus, lime, honeydew melon and stone fruit. Dusty mineral notes appear at the back. The inherent saltiness of this fresh white wine would pair beautifully across from slightly sweet foods such as raw shrimp.
