A blend of 70% Clairette, 25% Grenache Blanc and 5% Bourboulenc, fermented and matured in a mix of vessels including stainless steel, barrels and amphorae, the 2020 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc offers up hints of toast, but more white peach and citrus on the nose. Medium to full-bodied, it's smooth and silky from start to finish, an elegant white to drink on the young side.

Usseglio's 2019 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc offers a wonderfully tonic counterpoint to the opulence of the domaine's reds. Mainly Clairette and mainly fermented and aged in stainless steel, it offers hints of ripe pear and white peach, but the main elements in this medium-bodied wine are stones and citrus zest, without being sharp-edged or overly crisp.

The 2018 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc is a blend of 70% Clairette, 25% Grenache Blanc and 5% Bourboulenc, most of which was made and matured in stainless steel. Twenty percent barrel-fermentation adds just a touch of honeyed richness to the pineapple and tangerine flavors in this medium to full-bodied effort. It finishes long, silky and refreshing.

Made mainly in stainless steel, it's full-bodied and creamy textured, yet it balances that richness with bright lime and tangerine flavors. Twenty percent is barrel fermented and aged, and that component brings complex hints of baking spices that complement Clairette's anise notes.

The 2016 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc is a blend of 70% Clairette, 25% Grenache Blanc and 5% Bourboulenc. One-fifth is barrel-fermented and aged in new oak, while the rest is done in stainless steel. The result is an attractive balance of honey, orange sherbet, vanilla and briny freshness on the finish.
