From south-facing 0.11-hectares of vines on chalky soil, the 2012 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru has a candied orange-zest and apricot-scented bouquet with fine mineral tones. The palate is fresh and vibrant with good acidity, not the most complex Corton-Charlemagne, but it is refined and has plenty of finesse. Excellent.
