Perfumed minerals are found in the aromatics of the 2000 Meursault Meix Chavaux. This is an intense wine with loads of buttered minerals, hazelnuts, and spices. Reserved and subtle for now, hinting at pear, apple skins and a touch of honey, smoke and spices. Crisp but also round in the midpalate, but it turns chewy on the finish.
