The grapes are sourced from older vines located throughout the Columbia Valley. This is solid and not flashy, with wild brambly berries, earth and loam, a streak of woody bark, and overall a Bordeaux-like character. It was aged 22 months in one third new oak barrels. ——P.G.(11/1/2011)—— 88
