Mainly Cabernet Sauvignon with 7% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc, the 2020 CVR Columbia Valley Red Wine is big, juicy and precise with a bold nose of dark red and black fruit. It is full-bodied, succulent and richly layered on the palate, with seductive flavors of berry compote, a delicate mineral tension, fantastic focus and a long, lingering finish. The wine rested for 22 months in all French oak. Only 3,850 cases were made.

The 2019 CVR Columbia Valley Red Wine has a classic, red-fruited, juicy nose with focused, ripe, round and accessible crunchy red and black fruit essences. Medium to full-bodied, the red blend offers a fantastic, dusty expression with elegant French oak tones that linger through the mid-palate before gliding to a brilliant, long finish that will continue drinking great for another decade. Just under 6,000 cases were produced of this mostly Cabernet Sauvignon blend with 2% each of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot.

A compelling wine, beautifully proportioned and detailed, with a polished texture and expressive flavors of blackberry, toasty mocha and orange zest. The 2018 CVR Columbia Valley Red Wine opens with dark red and black fruit compote, elements of dusty red and purple flowers and notes of sweet baking spices that waft from the glass. The blend is medium to full-bodied and offers a balanced and delightfully complex mouthfeel with succulent tannins that will remain food-friendly for the next decade. It’s juicy and open-knit and ready for action.
