Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2010 St Andrews Shiraz has a slightly reduced nose with some rubbery whiffs giving way to warm blackberry and blueberry notes plus hints of pepper, anise and cardamom. Medium to full-bodied, it has mouth-filling, spiced blackberry preserve flavors that are supported by a medium to firm level of grainy tannins and crisp acid through to a long finish.
