Deep garnet in color with a hint of purple, the 2009 St Andrews Shiraz gives pronounced notes of warm black plums, black and red currants, blueberry compote and cassis with nuances of cloves, bacon and damp loam. Medium to full bodied with a good amount of expressive, warm berry flavors in the mouth, it has a medium to firm level of chewy tannins and refreshing acid, finishing long with lingering dried berry notes.
