Enticing aromas of sweet baking spices and woodsy scents, plus honey and ginger flavors, highlight this complex Champagne, which is full of low bass notes, yet is fresh, refined and generous on the vanilla-tinged finish. Though not aged long enough to meet the legal requirements for vintage-dating, all the grapes are from the 2002 harvest. Drink now through 2025. -BS

This adds complexity, with the underlying structure and grainy texture completing the presentation.
