The 2013 Meursault Les Terres Blanches has a delightful bouquet that blossomed in the glass: apple blossom and freshly sliced white peach, real energy and class that is not that common in this vintage. The palate is well poised with a spicy entry. There is a pleasing burst of energy here and if I am to criticize, it is difficult to follow up and the second half does not quite deliver the complexity and tension that the nose deserves. Still, this is a fine, Puligny-like Meursault that should drink well for several years. Tasted September 2016.
