The 2015 Meursault 1er Cru les Perrieres has a comely bouquet with apricot blossom, freshly sliced pear and subtle mineral tones that become more accentuated with aeration. The palate is crisp and focused on the entry. This feels harmonious and beautifully poised: fresh peach, a touch of lime and orange sorbet towards the finish that fans out with confidence. I would have liked a little more stony character here, but it feels very assured and just damn delicious.
