Tasted at the Armagh Hut with Sam and Tom Barry, the 2015 The Florita Riesling is salty and slightly estuarine; there are bulrushes here. It's almost watery in its initial flavor outlay, but it unloads through the finish and length. This is very long and impressive and has an interesting rollout of flavor—it shows some drive that the front palate wouldn’t suggest it has. It is backward right now but still many miles to go before it sleeps. At seven years of age, it is opening up and evolving admirably. Mouthwatering.
