The Torre Rosazza 2019 Friuli Colli Orientali Friulano opens to easy freshness and brightness with plenty of white peach, apple and poached pear. The wine is tart and fruity on the one hand, but there is also a subtle note of spice with cinnamon and honey-roasted almond. This is a creamy, lean-bodied wine to pair with a grilled tuna steak and toasted sesame seeds with wasabi root dressing.

The 2017 Friuli Colli Orientali Friulano opens to pretty layers of peach, poached pear and blanched almond. This lean to medium-weight effort glides smoothly over the palate, imparting mild freshness and a subtle touch of sweetness along the way. Pair this easy white with pan-seared tuna steak.

There’s a fragrant component to the nose that recalls jasmine, honeysuckle and exotic fruit with a distant shading of crushed white pepper at the back.
