The screwcap 2012 Collio Sauvignon shows high drinking appeal with loads of fresh fruit and tangy acidity backed by honey, peach blossom and dried sage. Varietal characteristics abound and territory has left its mark with mineral undertones and the fine, polished elegance of the finish. Drink: 2014-2016.
All these wines are imported to the United States with the exception of the Illivio white blend. No surprise, Livio Felluga has produced another knock-out collection of new vintages. The big news is the use of the recently-confirmed Rosazzo appellation on the estate’s top white wines, the Terre Alte and the Abbazia di Rosazzo.
