The 2016 Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge is a hearty, rustic red that Jadot purchased as wine before completing the élevage and bottling. Offering up aromas of ripe berry fruit and herbs, it's medium to full-bodied with chewy structure and tangy acids. While it can't match the finesse of the wines Jadot vinify themselves, I suspect time will be kind to it.
