Tasted blind at the annual “Burgfest” tasting in Bouilland. The 2013 Saint Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly has a rich nose that seems to have some botrytised fruit -- tinctures of honey rather obscuring the terroir expression. The palate is ripe on the entry, again, touches of honey here, spicy in the mouth but rather ham-fisted. Tasted May 2016.
