The 2015 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru les Chenevottes has an attractive honeycomb and passion fruit-scented bouquet with hints of shaved almond. The palate is honeyed on the entry with good depth, though it is missing some tension towards the finish at the moment. Hopefully it will develop more nerve by the time of bottling.

The 2014 Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru les Chenevottes was just a little muted on the nose when I tasted it, despite aeration. The palate is crisp and fresh with a fine line of acidity, hints of dried apricot and quince, though it needs a little more substance to show through on the finish. I'm just looking for more terroir expression here.

The 2013 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru les Chenevottes has a well-defined bouquet with touches of jasmine and dried honey, although I would have liked more fruit intensity. The palate is balanced with light citrus fruit, touches of honeysuckle and an easygoing finish.
