The 2018 Meursault Les Narvaux is superb, opening in the glass to reveal notes of pear and citrus oil mingled with white flowers, fresh bread and toasted sesame. Medium to full-bodied, layered and multidimensional, it's deep and complete, with bright girdling acids and a long, saline finish.

The 2016 Meursault Les Narvaux unfurls in the glass with a youthfully reserved bouquet of smoky green pear, pastry cream, sesame and lemon oil. On the palate, it's full-bodied, immensely concentrated and multidimensional, simultaneously elegantly textural and searingly intense, with tangy acids and a mouthwateringly stony finish. One of the domaine's emblematic bottlings, it's even more refined than the Auxey-Duresses Les Boutonniers.

Revealing aromas of pastry cream, ripe citrus, marzipan and white flowers, the 2015 Meursault Les Narvaux is full-bodied, deep and layered, with formidable concentration and chewy extract, underpinned by tangy, mouthwatering acids. It isn't quite as ample as the Auxey-Duresses Les Boutonniers, but it's just as intense. It's a beautiful expression of this lovely hillside Meursault lieu-dit.

Readers might want to think of the brilliant 2013 Meursault Les Narvaux as the second coming of the fabulous 2007. Unwinding in the glass with scents of crisp stone fruits, citrus oil, toasted sesame, iodine and freshly baked bread, it's medium-bodied, deep and concentrated, with incredible intensity without weight, racy acids and a long, immensely penetrating finish.

Honey, peach and floral aromas signal this exquisite, creamy-textured white. Balanced and fresh, this picks up a mineral component, finishing with complexity and excellent length.—Tasted non-blind in Burgundy (January 2015).
