One of the richer wines in the range, the 2020 Viré-Clessé reveals scents of orange oil, freshly baked bread and light reduction, followed by a medium-bodied, satiny and racy palate that's attractively layered and textural.

Unwinding in the glass with aromas of pear, clear honey, oatmeal and white flowers, the 2019 Viré-Clessé is medium to full-bodied, satiny and textural, with a tightly wound core and chalky grip on the finish. This important cuvée for the domaine was harvested in seven different picks this year.

The 2018 Viré-Clessé opens in the glass with notes of citrus oil, fresh peach, blanched almonds and hints of orange blossom. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive, it's fleshy and layered, with a bright spine of acidity and a pretty core of fruit.
