Medium to deep ruby-purple in color, the 2016 Pinot Noir Looney Vineyard has a dense nose of crème de cassis, chocolate-covered cherries and blue fruit preserves with notes of toasted coconut and potpourri. Medium to full-bodied, it’s slightly cloying in texture and heavy in the mouth, packed full of baked black and blue fruits and coconut notions and finishing with a touch of alcoholic heat. Is this Pinot Noir?
