Bursting with aromas of orange oil, blanched almonds and fresh orchard fruit, the 2018 Macon-Chardonnay is medium to full-bodied, textural and charming, with a fleshy and expressive core of fruit, lively acids and a flavorful finish. This is one of the more modest appellations in the portfolio, but by the simple metric of its capacity to give unabashed and immediate pleasure, it's also one of the finest.
