Last Tasted 8/92
A decadent, fully mature red burgundy, the 1985 Tollot-Beaut Corton-Bressandes has been drinking beautifully for the last 3-4 years. It is not likely to get any better, so don't push your luck. There is no amber in the color, and the nose offers evolved aromas of sweet new oak, herbs, black-cherries, coffee, and tobacco. This sweet, round, gentle, succulent, fruity wine displays a finish that is all glycerin, alcohol, and jammy fruit. Drink it over the next 3-4 years.
