The wines from Comte Senard that appear to have the best chance of achieving harmony include the 1990 Corton-en-Charlemagne. A rare red wine, it exhibits an opaque dark purple color, a closed nose with vague aromas of ripe plums and prunes, as well as gobs of smoky new oak.
