From a small parcel of 0.3 hectares, the Beaune Clos de la Feguine Blanc was affected by hail and needed a lot of selection, which resulted in four barrels (one of them new.) It has an intense, quite chalky bouquet, with hints of lemon curd in the background. The palate is fresh on the entry with crisp acidity, well-integrated oak, harmonious and elevated on the finish, with a dash of spice. There's a little gas to dissipate before bottling. but I think this will turn out just fine.
