Made from 48-year old vines, the Bourgogne Aligote reveals a surprising cheesy and sweaty nose. Pleasing flavors of herbs with a tangy and sharp citrus aspect cannot make up for its off-putting bouquet. This wine is made for early drinking and will not repay years of cellaring. This note is the result of tastings I did in Burgundy between January 7 and January 29.
