Beautifully fragrant and bright from the outset, the 2011 Alto Adige Valle Isarco Riesling Praepositus shows an extra degree of complexity and finesse. That extra year of bottle aging has steadied and cemented the wine’s aromas of white flower, sweet pear and honey. The wine also appears incredibly tight and composed in the mouth with thick natural texture and a pretty note of zesty acidity. It should age up to five years, maybe more.
