Tasted blind at Flint Wines’ 2007/2012 Nuits Saint-Georges tasting in London. The 2007 Nuits Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Pruliers from Taupenot-Merme presents more dark berry fruit on the nose compared to its peers: hints of marmalade and brown spices, a little smudged perhaps but there is good character here. The palate is medium-bodied with fleshy ripe red fruit. It is well balanced and harmonious with more depth and fruité towards the finish, which gently caresses with hints of black cherry and raspberry preserve. Delicious, no more, no less. Tasted November 2016.
