The 2018 Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru Clos de la Croix de Pierre Blanc (Domaine des Héritiers Jadot) is also very pretty this year, bursting with aromas of pear, orange blossom, nutmeg and pastry cream. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, layered and rounded, with succulent acids, an expressive core of fruit and an elegantly chalky finish.
