Beginning with a firm, juicy core of generous black fruits with dusty nuances of bitter dark chocolates, vanilla and plum compote comes the 2018 Malbec Dreamweaver. Medium to full-bodied, the Malbec offers up a just-ripe and dusty core of fruit that sways with the oak essences of vanilla, cardamom and nutmeg before fine-grained tannins grip the gumline. The wine concludes with a long, lingering finish and persistent flavors of chocolate-covered blackberries, dusty cherry skin and vanilla. The wine rested for just over a year and a half in 40% new French oak. Just over 1,400 bottles were filled. It's keenly priced and delivers well.
