Matured 13 months in 40% new oak, the 2019 Chardonnay Chamise opens with a touch of sulfury character that dissipates to aromas of warm peaches, honeycomb, toast and baking spice. The medium-bodied palate is gently rounded and yeasty, with opposing, tangy acidity, toasty fruits and a spicy finish. 250 cases were made.
