The 2014 Chablis 1er Cru F?rets, which comes from vines located more toward the bottom of the slope that Patrick uses as an indicator or when to start picking, has a classic, reserved, stony bouquet that is well defined but will need some bottle age. The palate is well balanced, quite saline in the mouth, a touch of bitterness lending tension, but perhaps just needing a little more length.
