Overflowing with mint, chocolate and cherry essences, the 2013 Magnus Shiraz epitomizes the Padthaway region in which it's grown. It's full-bodied and intense, with bold fruit married to spice and herb notes that include allspice, clove and star anise. The tannins are plentiful but ripe and supple, turning silky but remaining just-firm-enough on the extended finish. Drink it over the next decade or so.

Generous, fresh and vibrant, with notes of spearmint and milk chocolate adding richness and depth to a core of black cherry and wild blueberry flavors.
