Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2010 Magnus Shiraz sports a youthful nose of blackcurrant cordial, a little smoked meat, blueberries, some toasted cedar and yeast extract notes plus a whiff of cloves. A big wine that shows very taut and muscular at this stage, it has medium-firm, grainy tannins to structure a fantastic core of rich fruit. It finishes long. Drink it now to 2020+.
