The 2000 Barolo Serralunga uses exclusively the Nebbiolo of the township where Fontanafredda is located. The wine itself is something of a contrast to the normally robust and intense type of wine this part of the zone produces, fresh and sweet on the nose, well sustained by rather round tannins and already pleasurable.
