With fruit from four sites in La Morra and Serralunga d'Alba that are fermented separately and blended at the end, the Cascina Adelaide 2019 Barolo 4 Vigne shows a dark character with savory aromas matched to a more pronounced mouthfeel. That extra richness is a signature of the house style, although that style has been tweaked over the years to prize length and silkiness. Dark cherry fruit is rounded up with tobacco and spice for a more accessible result. This is a 15,000-bottle release.
