The 2003-2004 Mather Teresina is a blend of the two vintages. Composed of nearly equal parts of six different grapes (20% Morenillo is new to the mix), it exhibits a dense purple color and a brooding array of blueberry, blackberry, and black currant aromas. Backward on the palate and tightly knit, there are notes of mineral, leather, and earth as well as layers of unevolved fruit.
